The TESASTAR-m probe head can achieve angels between +90° and -115° on the A axis and +/-180° on the B axis in increments of 5°. There are a total of 2,952 possible positions. Turning through 90° takes less than two seconds.
New versions of the popular TESASTAR-m series add greater compatibility with legacy products. These new variants offer a 7.5° indexing increment. The TESASTAR-m 7.5° versions deliver -180° to +180° of revolution and 0° to 105° of pitch for a total of 720 indexable positions.
Changing the probe is done automatically by the probe changer. The TESASTAR-m also supports analog scanning probes as well as laser scanners.
